The Life of Prayer

"First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone..." (1Tim. 2:1)

Here Jesus speaks of two major sources that inform Christian belief and form Christian character:
- The Scriptures
- Prayer.
These sources keep us on the path of daily faithfulness.
- In the Scriptures we discover what God has done and said in times past.
- In the life of prayer we encounter the wisdom and power of God in our daily lives
