Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.
(Psalms 119:105)

Commentary & Reflection on Scripture.

A note about the Bible Study articles on this site. I use unicode to display Greek and Hebrew in some of these posts. They should display properly using any of several freely-available unicode fonts. For some people this may mean browser upgrades or font installation. Nevertheless, because of the encoding of these pages, the Greek and Hebrew ought to appear properly regardless of platform or browser. I translate all Greek and Hebrew words and phrases before or after they appear. You do not have to know the original languages to understand these posts, and if you have problems understanding them please let me know. I will attempt to correct this. It is often interesting to see the wording in the original languages even if one's knowledge of them is minimal. And, it's a good reminder that the Bible was not written in English.
